La Guadia Airport Water Fountain

LaGuardia Terminal B Water Feature | Behind the Scenes
The Terminal B Water Feature is the only one of its kind in the Americas and the only one of its kind found globally in an airport. 4,000 gallons of recirculated water run through the system and fall from two rings to create a water curtain. 450 nozzles individually open and close to create shapes falling from the water. Three projectors are used to wrap light around the water. Video content, lights, and audio are played back in sync to create unique shows for travelers played throughout the day.
This project was commissioned by LaGuardia Gateway Partners.
